Independence and Conflicts Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026.
Tamarly is a New York research house that studies how AI is changing regulated institutions. Tamarly Research produces the research reports published on Tamarly Intelligence and sold in the Tamarly Research store. Tamarly Intelligence is the research platform. Tamarly Media owns the Tamarly Newsletter and The Signal podcast and provides data to Tamarly Intelligence. This policy explains how Tamarly keeps its research independent.
1. Research is separate from investing
Tamarly Research, Tamarly Intelligence and Tamarly Media hold no investment positions and their coverage cannot be bought.
2. No paid coverage
No company, fund manager or sponsor can pay for coverage, for a more favourable view or to remove research. Tamarly does not accept payment from fund managers for listing a fund. Advisory clients of Tamarly.ai receive no editorial influence over Tamarly Research.
3. Advisory clients
Where Tamarly Research publishes on a company that is, or was in the prior 12 months, a client of Tamarly.ai, the research states that relationship at the top of the report and on the company page.
4. Personal trading
Tamarly staff and contractors who work on research:
- disclose their personal holdings in covered companies on joining and every year;
- may not trade a security of a company they are researching from the start of the work until 5 business days after publication;
- may not trade against a published Tamarly view for 30 days after publication;
- pre-clear trades in covered companies with the compliance lead.
5. The coverage ledger and corrections
Every Tamarly view on a company is kept on its coverage ledger, dated, including views that were later superseded or proved wrong. Errors of fact are corrected promptly; the correction and its date are shown on the report page and the change is logged.
6. AI in our research
Tamarly uses AI tools to research, draft, chart and check its work. Every report is reviewed by a person before publication, and every figure carries its source. AI output generated by subscribers, such as investment memos, is not Tamarly research.
7. Questions
Write to editor@tamarly.ai about any concern on independence or conflicts.
