Copyright Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026.
Tamarly Corporation ("Tamarly") respects copyright and expects the people who use Tamarly Intelligence to do the same. This policy explains how to tell us about material on Tamarly Intelligence that you believe infringes your copyright, how a user can answer, and what we do about users who infringe repeatedly. It follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. 512 (the "DMCA").
This policy covers material that users upload or write on Tamarly Intelligence: Hub documents and their share links, Hub templates, deal room files, files added to My sources, firm templates, notes, memos and My Funds documents. It also covers videos shown on the platform. For Tamarly's own reports and pages, write to legal@tamarly.ai.
1. Our designated agent
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:
- Copyright Agent, Tamarly Corporation
- 228 Park Ave S #337644, New York, NY 10003
- Email: contact@tamarly.ai
You can also use the form at https://app.tamarly.ai/copyright/report. Our agent's details are registered with the United States Copyright Office and listed in its online directory.
The designated agent handles copyright notices only. Messages about other matters sent to this address will not be answered.
2. How to send a notice
Your notice must be in writing and include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed, or, if several works are covered by one notice, a list of them.
- Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough information for us to find it. The address (URL) of the page or share link, or the Tamarly ID of the item, is best.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
A notice that does not substantially include these elements may not be acted on. Before you send a notice, consider whether the use could be a fair use.
3. What we do with a notice
When we receive a complete notice, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material. This can include stopping any public share link to it and blocking its files. We tell the user who posted the material that it was removed, which work the notice named and how to send a counter-notice. The user sees the notice reference and the work named. We do not give the user your name, postal address, telephone number or email address.
We keep a record of every notice and of what we did.
4. Counter-notices
If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to our designated agent, or use the form at https://app.tamarly.ai/copyright/counter while signed in. Your counter-notice must be in writing and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and where it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Tamarly may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or an agent of that person.
When we receive a complete counter-notice, we send a copy to the person who sent the notice and tell them that we will restore the material in 10 business days. We restore it not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless our designated agent first receives notice from the person who sent the notice that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material. Your counter-notice, including your name, address and telephone number, is shared with that person.
5. Repeat infringers
We count a strike against an account each time a notice leads us to remove material the account posted. A strike is removed if the material is restored after a counter-notice, or because the removal was a mistake or the notice was withdrawn.
When an account reaches 3 strikes, we review it. In appropriate circumstances we terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also suspend or terminate an account sooner, for example where the infringement is plain or deliberate.
6. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, by the copyright owner or its licensee, or by Tamarly. If you are not sure whether material infringes your copyright, or whether a removal was a mistake, ask a lawyer first.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
